Primitive Quilts Summer 2014

To flex our creative juices, in addition to the wool yarn rug punch patterns, we are beginning to develop more textile patterns featuring old quilts, homespun fabrics, and vintage flour sack pieces.
We hope you enjoy this step back to a simpler time of handcrafted comfort.

Primitive Pinkeepers Pattern
What a wonderful way to use those old zinc jar lids you have lying around or buy one from us!  This easy to make pincushion can be made with a piece of antique quilt or homespun fabric, embroidery floss and an accent button.  Even non-sewers can make and enjoy this whimsical piece of americana.
This is a paper pattern featuring two sizes of pinkeepers.  The large size is used if you have a wide-mouthed jar lid, and the smaller size works with a regular jar lid.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

The best part of the pumpkin patch is that each gourd is a little different.  Savor that experience as you create your own pumpkin patch at home from homespun, wool, or other fabrics (think vintage dish towels or antique quilt tops - get creative).

This paper pattern contains the template for 2 different shaped pumpkins, each in three sizes, so you can mix and match to your heart's delight.
