We are sad to announce that after nearly 25 years in business, we have decided it is time to explore the next chapter of what is in store for us. It has been an incredible journey and we would like to thank everyone who has been a part of it!

Visit the store soon and take advantage of our going out of business sale prices. All holiday items, greens and Baby Days books are 50% off, and the entire store is now 30% off (excluding yarn, and rug punch supplies). This discount will increase periodically until the doors finally close on February 15, 2012.

Many fixtures and antiques are also being sold. Stop in or call to inquire about pricing.

Even after the store closes, we will continue to offer rug punch patterns and supplies on our website. Plus, with all our new found free time we hope to do a lot more designing so we can expand our pattern selections. Fun, fun!

We are developing a business plan for a crafting retreat in the Madison, WI area where quilters, scrapbookers, rug punchers, and more, can get away from their crazy lives and reconnect with friends while they create and complete their projects. We are also considering home parties where you can continue to purchase your favorite ADITC products from the comfort of your own home. If you would like to be on our email list to be kept in the loop, send us a message and we will add you to our contacts. A Day in the Country gift store features over 2,500 square feet of shopping delight. Our primitive and rustic home decor items are sure to make your house a home and gifts you purchase for others will always be appreciated and enjoyed! If you aren't sure what to choose, gift certificates are available.

We are located at 245 E. Main Street in historic downtown Sun Prairie, WI, on the corner of E. Main Street and Market Street. We are accessible from Hwy. N, Hwy. 19 and 151.
